No formal entry qualifications are required for Level 2 courses.
This one year course looks at the broad basis of health, social care and early year’s sectors. You will study three units, where you will learn about the aspects of personal development, issues which affect the nature and quality of human life, awareness of the influences on an individual’s health and well-being and finally, understanding the importance of motivation and support when improving health.
Unit one is a written exam and is worth 40% of your final grade. Unit two and three are internally assessed; they are worth 30% each of your overall grade.
The style of vocational courses introduces students to work-related learning and empowers them to take charge of developing new skills and abilities. You will learn through a range of teaching, learning and assessment styles that aim to meet the individual needs of all students.
