Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at 4 and above including a 5 in Maths and Psychology or Science. If a candidate has not completed GCSE Psychology then a 5 grade in Science single or double award is acceptable.

Course Content

At Homewood, we follow the AQA Psychology A Level specification.

This is a Level 3 academic science course. The A Level Psychology course is intended as an introduction to the subject of Psychology as well as giving a sound basis for further study for those who wish to continue the subject. The course is assessed via 100% final written examinations. The course is made up of a range of different topics that cover many different aspects and areas of Psychology, including Social, Cognitive, Developmental and Abnormal Psychology as well as Research Methodology.
